Benefiting from the investment of Kazuo Ito (ESPO Group), the Larrousse team renewed its agreements with Lola and Lamborghini also for the 1990 F1 season. The first two GPs were held with the 1989 LC89 but starting from the GP of San Marino the new LC90 arrived in Imola. Aguri Suzuki and Eric Bernard were the two riders for 1990. Suzuki scored 6 points in the overall standings, with an excellent third place in Japan as the best result; the best result was a fourth place in Great Britain and a total of 5 points. The team took the sixth place overall among the constructors.
