Born from the brilliant ideas of Gordon Murray, the McLaren F1, presented in 1992, was for a long time the fastest production car in the world (391 km / h) and one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive of all. Equipped with three front seats, with the driver placed in the center, the car weighed only 1125kg and was equipped with the 6.1-liter BMW V12 for 627 horsepower. Of the F1, 106 examples were built, including those destined for competitions. Production ceased in 1998.
