In 2019 Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes once again confirmed themselves as world Formula 1 champions both in the drivers and manufacturers standings. The British driver clinched his sixth world title and the third in a row, while the team won for the sixth consecutive time the manufacturers title, repeating the successes conquered by Ferrari in the period 1999-2004. Hamilton also set the record of points again in a season that was however quite exciting also out of the first successes in Formula 1 of Charles Leclerc with Ferrari.
