After BMW and Mercedes, Volvo also entered the family SUV market in 2008. The first XC60 echoed the basic lines of Volvo cars, a classic design, except for the rear lights. The engines were almost all diesel (among these we mention the 2000 and 2400cc): initially only 5-cylinder, the engines were at least partially replaced by 4-cylinder units. The XC60 had a restyling in April 2013 and went out of production in 2017.
