The most recent generation of the G-Klass was presented in January 2018 and marketed in June of the same year, retains the typical look of the "G", whose first generation dates back to 1979. The technical contents are however completely new compared to the versions previous. The basic version is the 500, with a 3982cc engine that gives 422hp at 5250rpm. This generation of G-Klass is offered only with a 4-door sedan bodywork: therefore the 3-doors and the convertibles disappeared.
