The “small” version of the Mercedes AMG competition is the competitor of the Audi R8 LMS GT4 and BMW M4 GT4 and other recent cars in the FIA GT4 cups. Like the Audi and McLaren, the AMG GT4 benefited from some technical evolutions at the beginning of 2020 to remain in the lot of winning cars: in particular the engine cooling and brakes have been revised. The GT4 has a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers around 510 horsepower. The gearbox, sequential, is 6-speed, for a regulation weight of 1390kg.
