Specialist in robust and economical cars, Nash proposed a renewed range for 1949, consisting of the 600 Airflyte and the Ambassador. The Airflyte / Ambassadors resumed the pre-war mechanics: the 2.8-liter 6-cylinder and another 3.8-liter 6-cylinder. The sedan was joined by a convertible called Landau, in production since the end of 1950. Despite their imposing size, the Nash of this period were also appreciated for a rather limited consumption. Production stopped in 1951.
