Always based on the basic S platform, the car had a particularly short wheelbase, which facilitated its use in road racing. With SSK drivers like Rudolf Caracciola achieved numerous race wins. The SSK was powered by a 7065cc 6-cylinder engine and remained in production from 1928 to 1932. About 40 exemplars were built.
