SOLIDO - PORSCHE - 911 3.2 CARRERA COUPE 1984

At the beginning of the 1980s, the 911 was in crisis, but the right man in the right place and a judiciously conceived version changed the fate of the famous Porsche, ensuring many more years of success. The man's name was Peter Schulz and since he took command of operations at Porsche, he decided to revive the sales of the 911. For this he had a new engine developed, from 3164cc. The new 911 (G series), called the SC, was a real success, destined to remain popular for a long time. The car was presented in Frankfurt in 1983; in 1984 the Turbo Look option was made available, only for the coupe, which was also extended to the Targa and Cabriolet in 1985. From 1987 to 1989 the 3.2 SC was marketed with the new Getrag G50 transmission, which replaced the Porsche model 915.
