Presented in Paris in October 1994, the Alfa Romeo GTV (type 916) resumed the tradition of the homonymous model, based on Alfetta, which had gone out of production seven years earlier. The car, designed by Pininfarina, was a front-wheel drive. The engine equipment was numerous in ten years of production, in which three generations followed. Among the most sought after versions by collectors is the Cup with 3000 V6 engine (second generation), produced from 2001 to 2002. The GTV remained available until 2005.
