The small French company Venturi had many difficulties in overcoming the crisis of the early nineties. It was a whole production of sports models that allowed her to catch up. Over the course of five seasons, from 1992 to 1995, Venturi organized an excellent single-brand store. In 1993 sports programs focused on the 500LM program, intended for endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans or the BPR championship. In June 1994, Venturi's new boss, Hubert O'Neill, launched the 400GT, a road adaptation of the racing versions. The 400GT had a 2975cc V6 engine and 408 horsepower at 5750 rpm. Thirteen examples were built.
