SPARK-MODEL - BENTLEY - CONTINENTAL R 1995

In 1985 Bentley launched the “Project 90” program, which led to the birth of the Continental, presented at the 1991 Geneva Motor Show. The 6.75-liter turbo V8 engine had remarkable power (320 horsepower) and exceptional torque. In 1994, thanks to the development developed by Cosworth, the power increased to 360 horsepower, then even to 390 at the end of 1996. In the meantime, the Azure cabriolet version (Geneva Motor Show 1995) was also presented, followed by the short wheelbase T coupé and the SC, with a removable glass roof. In 1999, after BMW bought the Bentley, a Mulliner version (426 hp) and a Le Mans were added in 2001. Production of the Continental ceased in 2003.
