Designed for the LMP2 endurance class, where most of the starting grid is made up of the Oreca-Gibson 07, the Ligier JS P217 is the rare exception. Since 2014, the historic French brand has been taken over by Jacques Nicolet and is developing a whole series of racing cars, from GTs to prototypes. The JS P217 is equipped with the 4.2 liter Gibson V8 engine, which gives an output of 600 horsepower. The transmission is sequential with 6 gears + reverse. The frame is a carbon monocoque.
