In 1963 Bernard Collomb bought the Lotus-Climax 24 ex-Trevor Taylor and entered a series of European F1 races, including two stages of the world championship. The car was not particularly competitive: in the two races of the world championship, Collomb did not qualify in Monaco while he managed to finish in 15th place in Germany, in his last GP.
