At the 1950 Giro di Sicilia, Ferrari lined up, in addition to the well-known 166 MM Touring, two new 195S berlinettas, equipped with a 2341cc and 170 horsepower V12 engine. At the Mille Miglia of the same year three 195S were entered, one for Dorino Serafini, the other two for the brothers Giannino and Vittorio Marzotto. Giannino, together with Marco Crosara, was the winner of the race, behind the wheel of a car painted an elegant light blue color. Arriving at the finish line in Brescia, he got out of the car in an impeccable double-breasted suit, which he said he kept during the whole race. The 195S then clinched a second place in the Coppa Toscana with Franco Cornacchia and another win with Giannino Marzotto at the 3 Hours of Rome.
