TECNOMODEL - McLAREN - M6B GT 1969

The McLaren M6 GT project was born in 1969, with the intention of producing 25 units to obtain approval in the Group 4 category (5-liter sport). As the M6 ​​GT was built from the Can-Am M6B, of which 28 were built, Bruce McLaren hoped that the international federation would be content with producing only the body parts needed to transform an M6B into an M6 GT. To the negative response of the federation, McLaren decided to exploit the project anyway, recycling it for a road car. Bruce McLaren's death in 1970 put an end to this program. In total there are six M6 GTs built, all equipped with a 4990cc Ford V8 engine.
