Much more agile than the Veyron, the Bugatti Chiron is still affected by its considerable mass and some construction compromises. This is why Bugatti has always studied even more sporty and extreme variants. The Super Sport 300+ is one of these, limited to 30 examples. The engine remains the 7993cc W16 but with a power of 1600cc, one hundred more than the normal version and the Pur Sport. The Super Sport 300+ focuses on aerodynamics. Equipped with specific Cup2 tyres, the car reached 490 km/h on the Ehra Lessien track in 2019. In reality, Bugatti was aiming for 500 km/h, and in any case the record, obtained with a single-seater car, could not be homologated.
