The Lambda is considered Vincenzo Lancia's first masterpiece for many innovations, such as independent front suspension and hydraulic shock absorbers. In production between 1922 and 1931, the Lambda was sold in about 13,000 units. Some short wheelbase variants in the competition version participated in several prestigious races of the time such as the Mille Miglia.
