To replace the XK120, which was now beginning to feel the weight of the years, Jaguar decided not to upset the general concept of the car, presenting the XK140, which maintained the style of the 120, albeit with tighter lines, a larger grille and a more refined cockpit. The engine was the well-tested 3442cc 6-cylinder, which had various levels of preparation. The XK140, in production from 1954 to 1957, had the two traditional body variants, coupé and roadster.
