The Renault 4 4x4 prepared by Sinpar Appareils of Colombes (France) derived for mechanics and bodywork of the R4; the transformation could be performed on any version. Unpublished bodies were also planned: the Torpedo looked very close to the standard R4, even without the roof and doors; the Torpedo S, on the other hand, was quite similar to the classic American Jeep, while the Torpedo Plein Air was derived from the Fourgonnette.
