To change the image of the Visa a little, Citroen had the idea of extrapolating a radical version, at least in terms of look, and producing it in a limited edition. The Chrono was presented on March 24, 1982. The engine was the XYR block, a 93 horsepower 1361cc 4-cylinder engine that was equipped with the Peugeot ZS2. The only color available was white, and the serial number of the car was printed on the sides. The series was interrupted in July 1982, after 2160 copies destined for the French market and 1650 for abroad. Today the Chrono is a rare collector's car.
