In 1959 the Lancia Jolly was presented, a real commercial vehicle with two doors to access the passenger compartment and a side door on the side and the tailgate, replacing the commercial vehicle derived from the Lancia Appia. The engine was a 1089.51cc 4-cylinder. It was not a van derived from a car but a model with a specific design, produced in almost 3,000 units until 1963, replaced by the Superjolly.
