A very special car was built in 1961 on a Maserati 5000GT chassis, commissioned from Pininfarina by the lawyer Giovanni Agnelli. The future president of Fiat had asked Pininfarina for a bodywork very similar to that prepared two years earlier on a Ferrari 400 Superamerica base. Not too sporty, the Pininfarina 5000GT looked more like a two-door sedan than a super sports car. The engine was the 4941cc V8.
