To complete the range with a family sedan, Seat took over the second generation of the Audi A4. A redesigned front and rear were enough to make the Audi a Seat. Proposed as a sedan or break, the Exeo was presented in 2009. Despite a remarkable sales success (more than 100,000 cars a year), the Exeo went out of production quite quickly in 2013.
