Iva Inc. €69.95 Ferrari tackled the 1954 world sportscar championship with some new machinery, including the 500 Mondial, whose best-known bodywork was due to Pinin Farina who took up the proportions, in a reduced way, of the 375 MM. In this configuration, about fifteen units were built, also intended for private customers. Mondial also received a coupe bodywork. The season was favorable to the Scuderia and its sporting customers and the world title eventually came to reward Ferrari's efforts for the second time in a row.
