The Augusta model was presented at the 1932 Paris Motor Show under the name of Belna and initially intended for the French market only. The real official launch took place a year later, at the Turin Motor Show. The Augusta was the first sedan in the world equipped with a load-bearing body, but the novelties of the car did not end there: suspensions, brakes and other body elements reserved avant-garde solutions that would be exploited until the 1950s. The engine was a 1196cc 4-cylinder for 35 horsepower at 4000 rpm.
