Entered for the first time in Le Mans in 2016 (year of the 50th anniversary of Ford's first victory), the GT has been fielded in a works program lasting four years, but for enthusiasts the legacy remains with the road version, which is practically a racing car only slightly mitigated. Designed without compromise, the road Ford GT has a 3497cc and 656 horsepower biturbo V6 engine ensuring performances hardly comparable to other production GTs. The GT was built in 500 exemplars.
