Only six examples of the Bugatti 41 Royale were built between the 1920s and 1930s, of which three found a direct buyer. The other three remained with the Bugatti family until the 1950s. Other more or less rigorous replicas are also known, such as an Esders roadster, two British reconstructions and a “Royale prototype”, built on the first type 41 chassis never finished at the time.
