Produced from 1992 to 1996 by Zagato on a Lancia Delta Integrale platform, the Hyena was an attractive car that made power (250 horsepower) and low weight its strong points. The Fiat Group, however, always refused to supply Zagato with the raw chassis, so as not to compete with the Alfa Romeo SZ and the future Fiat Coupé. Zagato then had to buy complete Delta, then disassemble them and transform them, with the collaboration of a Dutch specialist, Paul Koot of Lusso Service. This significantly increased the selling price and the Hyena was produced only in about 25 units.
