Heir to the 1900 Super, the 2000 Sedan was presented at the Turin Motor Show in November 1957. Mechanically it derived from the 1900, but the line was completely different, with a long and imposing tail. The 1975cc 4-cylinder engine did not betray the expectations but its performance was conditioned by the dry weight of almost 1400kg. Accepted without too much enthusiasm by the market, only 2804 examples of the 2000 Sedan were produced. The appreciation for the 2000 Spider with Touring body was much higher. Remained in production until 1962, it was replaced by the 2600, definitively abandoning the engine with a cast iron base born in 1950 for the 1900.
