The Valiant V-200, introduced in 1960, was the entry level model in the Plymouth range. Compact, it measured 4.73 meters in length, not much by the standards of American cars of the time. The lines were more sober than average, with a good balance of forms. The engine was a 3249cc 6-cylinder which gave 127 horsepower. Among the options was the manual gearbox. The first series of the Valiant was produced until 1962.
