BRUMM - FIAT - 600 DERIVAZIONE ABARTH 750 1956

At the Turin Motor Show in 1956, Abarth presented its first mass-produced model, the Derivazione 750, based on the Fiat 600. It was a real event, because Abarth was the first manufacturer to offer sports processing in an industrial form on an existing car. The displacement was raised to 747cc for a power of 40.5 horsepower and a top speed of 129 km / h. The Derivation 750 conquered the motorists and also many drivers, who successfully used it in the touring category. Abarth also offered a conversion box for those who already owned a standard Fiat 600. It was the beginning of a long generation of Abarths based on the 600, which reached the mid-seventies.
