In October 1961, Abarth presented the new 700 and 1000 Bialbero at the Paris Motor Show. Having abandoned the collaboration with Zagato, the cars now had a new bodywork created in the Beccaris workshops. The two versions gained a few horsepower compared to the previous ones, with the 700 reaching 68, while the 1000 had 97. In October 1965 the 700 and 1000 received a modified bodywork, longer and with attention to aerodynamics by Sibona & Basano . On that occasion the engine of the 1000 still gained some power, reaching 102hp.
