It was a misunderstood car, but the Audi A2 offered revolutionary contents such as the ultra-light aluminum structure. Presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1999, the A2 had a very clean design, which in some ways recalled some stylistic features of the TT. The engines were designed to consume little, like the 1400cc 16v or the 1600cc FSI. The car had undoubted qualities: not only technical refinement, but also reliability and energy efficiency.
