EDICOLA - DACIA - 1300 KOMBI STATION WAGON (BASE RENAULT 12) 1969

After the successful launch of the 1300 sedan, based on the Renault 12, in 1969, the Dacia sedan invested in a new and booming segment, that of commercial vehicles. The seventies marked the beginning of this diversification, which proved essential for the Romanian brand. The agreement signed in 1966 with Renault allowed Dacia to also build the derivatives of the R12, and in 1973 the break version of the 1300 was produced, three years after the French debut of the R12 Break. Technically, the 1300 Break takes on the characteristics of the Dacia 1300 / Renault R12 sedan, with the 1289cc Cléon engine giving 54hp. Reserved only for companies and not for individuals, the Dacia 1300 Break remained in production till the end of 1985, alongside the newer 1310 Break starting from 1980.
