An emblematic but little-known model of Dacia, the Sport, born as 1310S and then becoming 1410, is the testimony of the Romanian brand's creativity in the period following its separation from Renault. Produced in just over 5000 units, its marketing began in 1983 (1310 Sport), after a prototype called Brasovia was presented at the Burarest Motor Show in 1979. The engine was the 1397cc 4-cylinder and 65hp at 5250 rpm. In 1985 the car became the 1410 Sport and adopted several important evolutions, such as a new front, longer doors and shorter side windows. Only 5141 units of the 1310/1410 Sport were built until 1992.
