Innocenti, an important Lombard metallurgical company, played a key role in favoring mass motorization in Italy starting from the 1950s, first building the Lambretta scooter, then dedicating itself to the automobile by manufacturing cars of the British group BMC under license. Innocenti therefore also produced the Mini in the following versions: 850 (1965-1972), 1000 (1972-1975), 1001 (1973-1976), Mini Matic (1973-1976), Cooper Mk.II / III (1968- 1972) and Cooper 1300 Export (1974-1976), in addition to the family “t” versions with wood finishes (1966-1972) or without (1968-1974).
