Two years after the first coupes, Zagato built a spider based on Alfa Romeo 1900C Super Sprint, which stylistically echoed the latest SSZs. The car had a lower nose, a more inclined shield, a single air intake and larger diameter headlights. A first example, in metallic silver, was presented at the 1957 Geneva Motor Show, while a second, perhaps in a two-tone version and with a different air intake on the bonnet, was presented the following year by Gianni Zagato at the Concours d'Elegance in Venice.
