After the defeat in the 1997 Formula 1 championship with the epilogue in Jerez which gave the victory to Jacques Villeneuve with Williams, Ferrari faced the 1998 season with a new car derived from the previous year. The 1998 F300 proved to be very competitive and Michael Schumacher took victory in six Grand Prix. This did not help to bring the drivers title to Maranello, which had been missing since 1979. The victory went to Mika Hakkinen with McLaren-Mercedes.
At the Hungarian GP, Michael Schumacher achieved the fifth of his six victories of the 1998 season. The German driver was the protagonist of an exceptional summer, winning three races in a row: Canada, France and Great Britain. It was then repeated in Hungary and then in Italy, but these performances were not enough to counter Hakkinen with McLaren.
GP-Replicas is a resincast brand specialized in reproducing Formula 1 cars from the past, in 1:43, 1:18 and 1:12 scale. The catalog is very rich, with numerous models added month after month. The miniatures are very accurate, and the brand's designers take into account the numerous evolutions and versions of the individual cars. Collectors therefore have the possibility of inserting reproductions of the most famous F.1 cars in their showcases, almost GP by GP.
