The third generation of the Firebird was presented in 1982 and was immediately appreciated for its great personality and the technical contents it offered. Among the various trim levels, the Trans Am was always available to enhance the sporty side. The engines were adequate: the range went from a 4-cylinder to a V6, up to the 5.7-liter V8 and 210hp at 4400 rpm, released in 1987. In 1987 the GTA trim also appeared, with more luxurious features.
