Presented in March 2020, the new A3 was developed on the same platform as the eighth generation of the VW Golf. Born in 1996, the A3 is now only available in the 5-door configuration (Sportback). The sporting version, the S3 with 4WD, was initially equipped with a 1984cc TFSI engine with 310 horsepower at 5450 rpm.
