Although it was not born for sporting use, the Audi A8 also had its own sporty variant, called the S8. The RS supersport acronym does not appear, but the performance is still remarkable. With a complete overhaul of chassis and suspension elements, the S8 has a 3996cc twin-turbo V8 engine and 571 horsepower at 6000 rpm. The weight is considerable (2235 kg) but the acceleration is nevertheless remarkable: from 0 to 100km / h in 3 ”8, with a self-limited speed of 250 km / h.
