The seventh generation of the Mercedes SL was presented in October 2021 and has been in production since spring 2022. For its new roadster, Mercedes has resorted to AMG: result, this car is based on a totally new platform, called MSA (Modular Sports Architecture), equipped with an unprecedented soft top, which replaces the rigid roof, which makes the mass gain about 20kg. As for the mechanics, the SL is equipped with four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. The launch was made with a single version, the 63 4Matix +, equipped with an 8-cylinder 3982cc engine and 585hp at 5500 rpm. On board, the interiors reflect those of the recent C-Class and S-Class. There are also two small seats at the rear.
