A cubist 2CV? The Citroën Dyane represents the attempt - partially failed - to replace the eternal 2CV. With more angular and theoretically more modern lines, the Dyane, introduced in 1967, would have had to take the place of the 2CV, but in reality not only could not match the sympathy that aroused the other model, but even went out of production three years earlier, exactly in 1987! Designed by Bionier, ex-Panhard stylist, the Dyane had engines from 425 to 602cc and was produced in almost 1.7 million units.
