A compact sedan from Mitsubishi, the Lancer experienced a series of sports editions that went down in history, starting with the first Evo in 1992. In 1993 it was the turn of the Evo II, followed by the III (1995), the IV (1996), the V ( 1998), VI (1999), VII (2001) and VIII (2003). The Evo IX arrived in 2005. The VIII and IX versions have a 1997cc 4-cylinder engine with variable power from 265 to 280hp. The bodywork, slightly modified since 1992, is that of a rally car. The Evo remains today a highly sought-after car by collectors.
