In 1980 the third generation of the VW van and minibus was presented. Stylistically different from the first two generations, the VW T3 had more modern, boxy lines and more space available. The appearance of the grille was reminiscent of the VW range of the time. The T3 had a long career, which ended in 1992. There were numerous versions and set-ups obtained, both for touristic and commercial use. A 4x4 version was also made, called Syncro.
