Debuting with the 1600 in September 1967, the career of the 2002 cabriolet continued until December 1975. In January 1971 the 2002 version debuted (version without rollbar), soon replaced by the version with rollbar. Production numbers of the 2002 cabriolet were very low: 200 cars without a roll cage and 270 with a roll cage.
