The 6 Series E63 was part of a long tradition of the BMW brand's top-of-the-range coupé. With this generation, the car was also offered in a cabriolet configuration (E64). The aesthetics were debatable but the engines were exceptional, with a choice of V8 or V10 with 6 cylinders in line and powers ranging from 258 to 507 horsepower. In the face of excellent performance, there was a considerable weight and some electronic problems that limited the success of this 6 series.
