The Land Rover Velar belongs to the category of family and luxury SUVs, where competition is certainly not lacking: Mercedes GLB, Jaguar F-Pace, BMW X4, Audi Q8 are just some of the models that the Velar has to deal with, but there are many others and certainly not at popular prices. Some initial criticisms of the Velar, such as the lack of performance of a certain level, have been accepted by Land Rover which presented the 5.0 V8 Autobiography model, equipped with the 550-horsepower 8-cylinder engine. The downside, a very high price and not too exciting road behavior, made even less electrifying by a considerable weight. A rather personal style remains interesting, which stands out from many of the more anonymous SUVs of the same category.
