The Officina Meccanica Stanga in Manerbio (Italy) became famous when their small cars won their class at the Mille Miglia. The cars that participated in the 1950 and 1951 editions were equipped with Giannini engines and also achieved good results in other races in the 750cc class. Carrozzeria Motto built a coupe with a Fiat 8-cylinder V engine based on the Stanga. The 750 Sport was instead equipped with a Giannini engine.
